SpinVox picks Six

SpinVox is best known for a service that converts voicemails to text and sends them to the receiver as an SMS. The Six Apart deal is based an another SpinVox product called SpinMyBlog, which works on the same principle but emails the text message to a web site.

This latest signing for SpinVox adds to the substantial activity around blogging – and the move to merge mobile and PC as channels for sending and publishing entries.

This commercial deployment taps into the blogging phenomenon that has already generated the creation of more than 81 million blogs, capturing 1.6 million postings every day, according to the market tracker Technorati.
